Strl+S - and our data is already stored in a place to which even we could not give directions: in the cloud. The exhibition Stormy Weather deals with these (and other) man-made clouds and, through the lens of contemporary art, asks about our agency in times that are increasingly governed by complex technologies.
In the curator's tour on 14 11 2020, Katharina Brandl will guide visitors through the show and answer their questions: Why is the place where we not only store our data, but have also shifted large parts of our computing power to, named and represented as a cloud? How are weather, climate and technological history intertwined? And: How is this reflected by means of contemporary art?
Because of the lockdown, the tour took place online.
