In the "Proseminar Malerei", we dedicate ourselves to introductory questions about the medium of painting, using artistic examples and basic research literature. The course thus creates a historical and theoretical approach to the medium of painting by addressing different painting practices, genres and techniques across epochs.The course will be designed as a blended learning course and the sessions will be held alternately in person and online.
